Hidden Treasures Of The Soligo Hills
One day itinerary
The walk starts from the Hotel Contà and takes us through the hills of Soligo.
The first part follows a gravel path along the river Soligo, which leads us at the bottom of the hills and soon takes us into the most authentic and wildest side of this land, with steep hillsides covered in forests. We will have charming views on the Prealps and the little villages at their foot.Once we get on the ridge of the hills, we will be walking to the little village of Collagù, which treasures a Sanctuary, a little jewel set against one of the most spectacular views of all the Prosecco Hills. Here we will have the chance to have a little break at Ristoro Collagù, where we will be able to try delicious local products.
Once we go back to our path, it will take another little effort and we will be rewarded by a breathtaking view over the plain, which extends south to the Hills of Treviso. The last stop of our itinerary is the Church of San Gallo, built where centuries ago there used to be the Castle of Soligo, dominating the land around it.A gravel road through the vineyard will take us back to the path along the river and back to the hotel.
