Sulle rive del Prosecco

The itinerary takes us through the villages of Valdobbiadene, walking on paths amongst vineyards, that today are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.

The walk starts in San Pietro di Barbozza and leads us towards the northern area of the hills, which is also the highest one and it offers amazing views on the Asolo Hills, on Montello and the lower hills.

We will be walking up to the Church of Sant’Alberto, a little building hidden among trees. The path takes us downhill through the wood, until we reach vineyards again and a stunning view opens before us. At this point we can see the picturesque village of Santo Stefano and the gentle hills of Cartizze, 107 hectars where the top quality of Prosecco is produced.

Here we can have a visit of the Zilli Winery and try their Prosecco together with some local products.

The itinerary plunges into rolling vineyards and takes us to one of the most peculiar spots on the Prosecco Hills: the Osteria without the Host. It is an old farmhouse, where the owner is never around, but you can help yourselves with typical products and of course Prosecco.

We are now left with the last part of the walk that leads us back to San Pietro di Barbozza, where we started our journey in the Prosecco Hills.
